InterContinental Hotel Group has a green concept hotel online now, called Innovation Hotel. Those of you who have been following green travel won’t be surprised by many of its features (green roof, in-room recycling bins, reduced paper usage, left-over food donated to food banks or composted), but it’s nice to see them all in one place and neatly illustrated. Many of the destinations Green Postcards cover use the same methods to keep their properties sustainable. IHG says it created the website to get consumer feedback, and they do have a form to submit your ideas. In my day-job, I work for a large (non-travel) corporation; I know that most companies take consumer feedback very seriously. Take a minute to drop IHG a line; consumer demand is a powerful, powerful thing. (Yes, powerful enough to encourage big companies to take serious green steps.)

Wow, I had no idea.
This is the very site I've been looking for, and my friend's doin' it!
And I have to say, TypePad makes Blogspot look like Slackerville. You're gettin' ads, baby! You're movin', shakin', makin' the world better.
And by the way, I loved your Presbyterian line about guilt-free daydreams.
Yay, you!
